Ildiko Hammond

Ildiko Hammond has been a professional visual artist for the past 14 years

She regularly has solo exhibitions (once per year) and participates in various group shows each year.
Ildiko's focus is exploring the essence of human beings - our physical, spiritual, mental and emotional states. This is revealed through Ildiko's use of colour, mediums, textures, form, patterns & objects in her figurative and abstract paintings.

Gabrielle Bates

Gabrielle Bates is a Melbourne based artist whose paintings explore how ideas about "growing up" and "growth" impact on collective and individual identity.  Inspired by childhood photographs, comics and 1950's adventure annuals, Gabrielle's paintings respond to the cultural climate with a gentle, satiric wit.

An honours graduate of Sydney College of the Arts, Gabrielle has taught painting and video art at the Universities of Sydney and Newcastle.  Her paintings have been acquired for corporate, institutional and private collections in Australia and USA.  She has received a number of awards and grants, and has been artist-in-residence at the historic town of Hill End.
